Our Mission
Our mission is to provide financial assistance for treatment, clinical counselor training, and continuing education within enthusiastic sobriety recovery programs.
As a Missouri 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we bridge the financial gap for families who cannot afford recovery services. We explicitly fund placement within programs utilizing the “enthusiastic sobriety” approach.
The Challenge Families Face
- The Relapse Cycle: Families often become trapped in a distressing pattern of short-term rehabilitation stints followed by immediate relapse.
- Adult-Centric Care: Youth and young adults rarely succeed in adult treatment settings. They require peer-driven environments tailored specifically to their developmental needs.
- Financial Barriers: Specialized, long-term adolescent recovery programs are frequently beyond a family’s financial reach.
How We Intervene
- Needs Assessment: We evaluate each applicant’s unique financial circumstances and clinical needs.
- Direct Scholarships: We grant financial aid to enable adolescents and young adults to immediately enter age-specific, enthusiastic sobriety programs.
- Future Growth: We fund educational scholarships for future substance use counselors to expand the network of qualified professional caregivers.
Our History & Founder’s Story: From Heartbreak to Hope
Love Enough 4 U was founded in 2018 by Missouri community members determined to alleviate the financial burdens of local families.
The inspiration for the foundation originated with founder Mary Minton. After exhausting out-of-state wilderness programs, therapeutic boarding schools, and private counseling, her family discovered the Crossroads Recovery Program in Chesterfield, Missouri. The enthusiastic sobriety approach transformed their lives. Today, her daughter is living a grateful, happy and productive life with more than 10 years in recovery.
Mary turned her personal gratitude into community action. Her enduring objective is to ensure that financial hardship never prevents a child from receiving life-saving recovery services.
Why Enthusiastic Sobriety Works

- Long-Term Accountability: While traditional centers offer short-term solutions, enthusiastic sobriety programs retain participants for two years or more on a graduated basis.
