What We Do
Simple: Love Enough 4 U provides scholarships to young people and adolescents who need drug or alcohol treatment, but cannot afford it.
The Love Enough 4 U Foundation is a Missouri 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping teens and young adults receive drug and alcohol treatment at Enthusiastic Approach recovery programs, who otherwise would not be able to afford treatment. We also help fund scholarships for drug abuse / addiction counselor training in candidates who cannot afford the necessary schooling.
These days, it is often normal for a family with a drug using son or daughter to get caught in a vicious cycle of short-term treatment programs and relapse. This leads to continual heartbreak for family members as well as a deepening of the disease of addiction in the user’s life.
As community members who have been touched by the disease of addiction in some way, we have found that often times, young people don’t respond as well in adult treatment settings. Our loved ones needed treatment and long-term support in an environment designed to work with their age group. Often, by the time we realize that, our financial resources are severely tapped.
This is where Love Enough 4 U steps in. We meet with families, assess their level of need, and provide scholarships to enter treatment at enthusiastic sobriety treatment programs.
Our Mission
To provide financial assistance for treatment, counselor training, and continuing education in and for enthusiastic sobriety approach programs.
Our History
Love Enough 4 U was started in 2018 by members of the community in Missouri who were concerned about the struggles many families were having paying for high quality drug and alcohol use treatment for their adolescent and young adult sons and daughters.
For years, families who have been affected by substance abuse have been seeking ways to help other families. With this foundation, they can make donations that will go directly to helping families fund treatment for their young person. 100% of your donation goes toward the scholarship.
Mary Minton and her husband Jim, are graduate parents from The Crossroads Program in Chesterfield, MO. After attempting different treatment outlets with out of state wilderness programs, therapeutic boarding schools and private counseling, they finally found the Crossroads Recovery program in Chesterfield, MO. Their son graduated the program in 2017 and their daughter is now a counselor in Phoenix, Arizona. Mary still attends parent meetings from time to time. From the very beginning, they wanted other parents to find hope as they did, so Mary has turned her hope into action by creating The Love Enough 4U Foundation, with the goal of making it possible for any child or young adult who needs treatment, able to get treatment.
Drug/alcohol abuse and addiction for teens and young adults is on the rise. Helping them while they are young gives them the best chance for long term recovery. Most treatment centers do not work with young people long term. Enthusiastic approach programs not only work with a person while they are in treatment, but they continue to help them become productive members of society. They are involved for 2 years or more.
